Cozy in one line

Cozy is a private journal for Mac, Windows, iPhone and iPad that keeps every entry on your own device, as your own files.

The facts

Platforms: Mac, Windows, iPhone and iPad.
Price: $49 once for every device you own, with a year of updates for Mac and Windows. After that year the desktop app keeps working, and iPhone and iPad always stay up to date. Cozy Forever is $89 once and includes every future desktop version. The iPhone app is free to download and unlocks with the same license, or for $49.99 inside the app, which includes the desktop app too.
Account: None, and no subscription. You pay once and nobody asks for a password.
AI: There's none in the app. Nothing you write is sent anywhere.
Files: Every entry is a file in a folder you pick. They open without Cozy, and they outlast it.
Trial: 7 days on Mac, Windows, iPhone and iPad, with no email and no card.

Why I made it

I've kept a journal since 2019. Most journaling apps now want to summarize your year or open a chat window over your diary. I wanted a place to write where nothing reads over my shoulder, so I built one.
