Install Cozy
Cozy is a desktop app for macOS and Windows. A Linux build may follow, and a separate mobile app for iPhone and Android is in development.
Download
Section titled “Download”- Head to the download page.
- Cozy picks the right file for your computer automatically. If you’d rather choose, both the Apple Silicon and Intel builds for Mac, and the Windows installer, are listed there.
- Open the downloaded file and follow the usual install steps for your system.
Opening it the first time
Section titled “Opening it the first time”The very first time you launch Cozy, your computer may ask you to confirm you want to open an app downloaded from the internet. That’s normal. Confirm, and Cozy opens to its welcome screen.
From there you’ll activate your license and then create your first journal.
Updates
Section titled “Updates”Cozy keeps itself up to date. While the app is open it quietly checks for new versions every few hours, and whenever you click back into the window. When a new release is ready, a small notice appears in the sidebar. Click it to update. You can also check any time from Settings → Check for updates.
Every update to your version of Cozy is free, fixes and new features alike.
